Your Contract

You are a Muslim, which means someone who submits and surrenders him/herself to the will of Allah.
Your role is to obey His Command, and Submit to Him in all spheres of life. The very first thing He commands you is to worship Him alone because He has no associate or partner.
‘Worship God alone: you have no deity other than Him.' [1]
That’s great news, isn’t it? Can you imagine how your life would have been if you had to please different masters, having different requests and contradicting each other? Chaotic, exactly!
Allah's Right upon His slaves is that they should worship Him Alone and associate nothing with Him. And His slaves’ right upon Him is that He should not punish who does not associate anything with Him. [2] So whoever dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise, and whoever dies associating partners with Allah will enter the Fire. [3]
The two conditions He set for your actions to be accepted are: that they are done only to please Him alone, and they should be in accordance to the Sunnah of His final Messenger (peace be upon him).
Please be advised that there is NOsuccess in this life or the next (Akhirah) without worshipping Him in the manner He wants to be worshipped.
Be reassured that your Master will never breach the contract. He is perfect, free from any shortcomings and as He says Himself:
...Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know" [4]
However, human beings are definitely not perfect! So if ever you were to breach the contract, do turn to your Master, The Most Merciful, immediately, repent to Him and sincerely ask His forgiveness.
Please note that there are three conditions of repentance:
  1. You should give up the sin;
  2. You should regret having done it;
  3. You should resolve never to go back to it.
This is a full time position. What is so unique about your new position is that your role is not restricted to some particular actions, done at a particular time, in a particular place. Rather any belief, statement or action done with the pure intention to please your Master alone is considered as an act of worship.
Please note that this will never be a source of stress neither will you feel it as a burden because your entire system has been created and programmed for it. So fulfilling your primary function will bring you the peace and serenity you have always dreamt of!
Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest." [5]
Your Master is also known as Al Kareem, [6] so He not only rewards you for every single good deeds you do but this reward can also be multiplied up to 700 times its original value.
Bonus Pay
The more you thank Him, the more His bounties towards you increase!
Please note that your Master is completely free from having a need from anyone or thing and whatever He commands you is for your own benefit:
O mankind, you are those in need of Allah , while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.' [7]
So the only person really benefitting from your worship is actually yourself!
Out of His immense mercy, your Master has promised to reward you with a blissful eternal life, in a place you cannot even imagine because its beauty goes beyond what your intellect can even comprehend! So all you are doing now is making a contribution to your retirement scheme!
