Who Could Imagine This?

No more proof of insanity of the rulers in the Muslim world can be than believing their power never reaching to its end. The nethermost parts of their power castles bedded on the sandy rocks are always on the verge of crumbling all at once with creeping of the sand from their foot every moment of time, but their lust for power and greed to amass maximum wealth under the shadow of their power never keep them in fallacy that their authority is incessant.

Muammar Qaddafi of Libya, the longest serving non-royal ruler in the history going above four decades, despotic rule of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt lasted for thirty years, arbitrary rule of Zain El Abidin Ben Ali in Tunisia continued for about 23 years while tyrant yoke of Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen is on the neck of his people for last three decades. Misfortune in form of Al-Asad dynasty has been chasing the Syrian people for last about 40 years, 30 year rule of Hafez al-Asad and after his death from 2000 his son Bashar al-Asad took the rein.

One thing common in all of despotic rulers is taking all the resources of the country absolutely in their possession and forcefully silencing their people. Apart from their lust of power, almost they all have been very avariciously plundering the money through out the period of their rule. Since the huge amounts of some of the deposed and dethroned rulers were confiscated or frozen in the national or American banks where they think their wealth much safer than in the banks at home, now they have started investing the amassed wealth in multinational companies with fake identities. Jewelry and other excessively precious ornamental items in custody of their wives and other women of their families are worth billions of dollars. Not only the ugly faces like former military dictators Parvez Musharaf, but the presidents and prime ministers wearing the cloak of democracy have made fortunes in real estate market. They own splendid apartments and palaces in New York, London, Paris and Dubai. Asif Ali Zardari is the worst example of this kind of rulers.

They contrive and mischievously plot to prolong their rule but Allah is the Best of those who make plans in their own interests. It is the part of Divine Wisdom not to punish the criminals at the very beginning of their crimes. Their rope is loosened and they find more time to go ahead in their devilish attitudes. The delay in their punishment, which is actually a reprieve for repenting and reforming themselves for the better, makes them more courageous in their mischief. This respite has a limit and after all it ends and comes the time of seizure for punishment. The first stage of this nabbing is making them subject to the rage of their people. The second stage is getting thrown out of the power and calling to the account on their crimes of corruption and crushing their people. Disgrace starts chasing them. They seek refuge but find no one to shelter them. Hosni Mubarak is a fresh example of getting humbled in the courts now.

Could anyone imagine this all to happen with Musharaf in Pakistan who thought himself indispensable for the country and the thrown out rulers of Tunisia and Egypt and an open rise up against Qaddafi and Bashar al- Asad? All these merciless rulers used to having a cover of heedlessness on their eyes. It all has been the Sunnah of Allah, the All-Mighty. Constant cycles of such incidents are the parts of human history serving as a warning for those who succeed their disgraced predecessors.

“Have they not travelled in the land and seen what was the end of those who were before them.” (Yusuf: 109)

They were heedless of the fact that:
“Allah has full power and control over His Affairs, but most of men know not.” (Yusuf: 21)

Really there is no more proof of folly of the rulers who fail to take any lesson from the history how ruthlessly the act of retaliation is repeated on those who subdue their people, give rise to the culture of corruption, are tainted with nepotism and who grant boons to their favorites and confer kingly advantages on sycophants from the wealth which is actually of the people.

Sir,
A great eye-openning analogy between the current sordid and inveterate dictators of the Arab world to the past Kings and Rulers who had been disgraced and doomed by Allah in a similar fashion. Specially, the sequence of events that follow thier downfall which is initiated by public outcry and humiliation certainly confirms the Authority of Allah and that the Divine Justice always suffice.
I had written a letter in Khaleejtimes during the Edyptian uprising comparing the ordeal with the current harrowing condition in Pakistan. Would like to have your views on it. Its posted on my blog (http://blog-bilo.blogspot.com/2011/02/mr.html)

Sir,
A eye-openning and lesson-learning analogy of the current sordid and obdurate imperialist of the Arab world to the Kings and Rulers of the Past who had been disgraced and doomed by Allah's Wrath in a similar fashion. The course of events which inevitably construes to their doom certainly depicts that the Divine Justice always suffice.
I wrote a letter in Khaleej Times during the Egyptian uprising comparing the scenario with the current ordeal within the wizened Pakistani goverance system. It is also posted on my blog (http://blog-bilo.blogspot.com/2011/02/mr.html) Would like to have your comments
