The Hand Holding the Strings

Democracy is thought the best political system constituted by man so far. The West and particularly America has made popularization of this system a major part of political beliefs. Its sanctification is at such a high level that if someone innocently denies the merits of this system he is deemed to be utterly uncivilized and stupid creature on the face of the earth.

Is the democracy actually the greatest ideological discovery of the West and really an ideal system? Yes, of course, but until a much better modus vivendi is shaped. In spite of utopian dreams about democracy still it fails to root out the evils like injustices, discrimination, inequity and racism, even in the states thought to be the fountains of this system.  Democracy gained a big acceptance because to some extent there is an assurance of freedom, human rights, dignity and respect for mankind in it. It has freed man from many of the shackles of tyranny and exploitation.

The triangle of cruel monarchical system in Europe, medieval church and feudalism were hands in gloves with each other in making selfish use of their authorities. They intrigued to keep the people downtrodden by the cruel kings, shackled in ignorance and superstitions and dull their wisdom by illogical and spiritless religious customs. Only through this system the walls blocking the radiations of awakening were razed and the Western people embraced enlightenment and consciousness. Starting from the cuffs of the above mentioned triangle, the freedom later became an absolute freedom from most of the religious and moral commitments.

Thus growing of the plant of the present concept of democracy in the Western climate was a natural thing. It grew there and gave the fruits of their tastes. Basic philosophy of democracy dealt only with system of rule ‘of the people, by the people and for the people’. But later it became all-embracing set of principles, covering the social, economic, cultural and moral realms of life also.

Like many other theories democracy is also deemed to be the brainchild of the Jews who had been in need of an open social environment, free of the prejudice and antagonism which they were subject to in the Western societies. In the light of democratic norms with guarantees of equal rights for all the citizens of the states they became major beneficiaries of this system and rapidly thrived in all the fields. Democratic atmosphere provided them golden chance to successfully hold the sway over and get the policies made in their favour.

They planned to plunge the Western societies in the marsh of sensual pleasures and hedonism. Their intelligentsia very cleverly got room in the Western class structure. They purchased rich brains of the intellectuals and employed the pens and brushes of the writers and artists. Very soon this minor community took the control of the powerful media and held the reins of decision making centers in its grip.

The concept of freedom of expression was very mischievously capitalized on against other faiths, of course including Christianity. I remember around 3 decades back when I came to the UAE, I found the Arabic translation of a book titled (in Arabic) Al-Yahudiyah Wara KuLLe Jarimah (Jews Are At The Back of All the Crimes). Now, incessant sacrilegious happenings of insulting the Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad, be peace and blessings upon him, remind me of the above mentioned book. I am afraid it is the Jews’ hands pulling the strings of the puppets to bring the two major communities of the world, Muslims and the Christians, in a clash.
