He took his charge as chief of army staff with hidden lust
of power. He still needed and it took not a long time to get backing of foreign
powers, especially of the Americans, for his hideous and heinous act of dethroning
the democratically elected president. According to the intrigue first part of
the several acts ‘play’ was secretly inciting the people to create havoc and stand
rebelliously to demand not less than urgent removal of the president from his
post. When once serious law and order situation was concocted, the second
episode was coup d’etat. But the game is not over. Egyptian nation is now badly
divided. No decline in support of the people for the Muslim Brotherhood is seen
so far. Rising number of the people with call to reinstate Dr. Morsi’s is
causing embarrassment for general el-Sisi, who is, in the present superficial
civil set up, actually de facto ruler of the country.
Actual part of the ugly ‘play’ is crushing Muslim
Brotherhood. The general is seeing a pretext of some extreme measures in
speedily uncontrollable situation in result of unending agitation and rallies
in support of Morsi. Only two days before, whole of the world, perhaps with
exception of those who had abetted him in his unconstitutional act of coup, was
stunned to see the coup commander demanding Egyptians to rise in his favor and
grant him mandate for killing other Egyptians. So, today, Friday, 26 July, is
feared a big bloodshed in result of his call. After Bashar el-Asad of Syria, it
is the second example of a (de facto) ruler and any military commander inducing
his people to a civil war in his country. General el-Sisi seems to having lost
his senses and gone in loss of his mind.
Huge gatherings are expected today demanding Morsi again in
power. One of many aims of el-Sisi’s call is intimidating and terrorizing the
protestors. But result may be otherwise. In response of his highly provocative
speech instigating his supporters to be in the streets, and riposting his
mischievous call his followers will like clashes, thus the peaceful and restraint
movement may go furious. The general seems to be waiting the situation reach
this point. Occurrences of violence in the streets of Cairo may prove a good pretence
for el-Sisi to use his blind force for crushing Muslim Brotherhood. The more he
will try to quell the protests more loss of lives will happen. In this case, Sheikh
Ahmed Al-Teyyeb, grand sheikh of Al-Azher and Coptic pope Tawadros II, who were
sitting on his both sides while he was addressing to the nation after coup, will
equally be responsible for bloodshed.
It is sad, the world communities, human groups, so-called
civil society, unfortunate religious elements and media, all are witnessing the
vicious game silently. Though there are the vigilant and responsible elements
in the Egyptian society, fully understanding the game, but the Western-backed
politicians, leftists, seculars, remnants of the former despotic rule, big mafias,
common criminals of the streets and corrupt civil and military bureaucracy and
the administrative machinery tricked in servitude are tools in this Satanic
game. We pray for wish our Egyptian brothers a safe and peaceful Friday.
