Newly Elected JI Ameer and Ideological Revival of JI

Result is out and as, because of stagnant mindset of اركان, Sirajul Haque sahib was already expected to be elected as( امير ) Ameer (Head) of Jamat Islami for next five years. Very surprisingly, a Peshawar based newspaper had published success news of Sirajul Haque sahib in the morning while official result had to be announced by 'Election Commission' of JI afternoon. Good Luck Siraj Bhaai! Generally JI people dislike congratulation to newly elected Amir but I think it is because they are unaware that مبارك is a دعا. Anyhow, I wish all what is good for Jamat. Jamat Islami is the most 'Talked Over' religious party of Pakistan due to its being a leading Islamic Movement which ideologically appeared around 1930/31 with the thoughts of Syed Maududi and physically it became in existence in 1941, with its noble lofty ideas in the light of the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم. Its founder Seyed Abu al-A'la Maududi was a man of exceptional intellectual caliber who had ability to think far ahead of his time. He led his party as head (امير جماعت ) for long time in extremely unfavorable political atmosphere and most offensive sectarian circumstances, until his health let him not take burden of leadership of his party any more. Almost all of the governments, whether civil of military establishments had been bent on crushing JI and humiliating its Amir. Qadiyani, a mischievous sect which is now constitutionally non-Muslim, had its influence in civil and military bureaucracy continued its conspiracies against Maulana Maududi. JI and its founder was target of false propaganda of whole of the West. No one, in those days, could dream of easy, pleasant and friendly political seasons which JI has been enjoying since امارت of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed. A high showers of Dua for Sirajul Haque's استقامت are seen on social media by workers and well wishers of JI as if what he had been showing dearth of was only استقامت. While the qualities which are actually needed for the leader to revive the ideological identity of JI are knowledge, cogitation, reflection, foresightedness and discernment which remained disappeared in JI policies for whole five years of Sirajul Haque's previous tenure of leadership. Though, he is a vibrant person but policies bear fruit by wise and well thought and analysed decisions, and not by only حركت of the leader. Ideological color of JI started fading during the days of former Ameer, late Qazi Hussain Ahmed; the third Amir of JI. He wanted to make JI a radical party to attract the masses but more he moved with his radicalism, more JI's ideology got suffered. Sirajul Haque sahib took the same track. For last five years, he politically affiliated JI to Imran Khan's PTI and became partner in KPK provincial government. We awfully observed that young generation of JI families joining PTI but JI constantly lost its vote bank and ideological potency. Since its inception, JI workers used to have small libraries for their families and also for distribution of the books to the people around them. Islamic literature and particularly the rich books written by Maulana Maududi himself & his learned companions of early days, proved to be oxygen in life of JI but gradually culture of reading was eaten by radicalism and Jehadism.

These were the facts which I continuously conveyed in written form to late Qazi sahib, Syed Munawar Hasan sahib and also to Sirajul Haque sahib, but all fell in vain. I tried to make them feel that the loss of political alliance with PTI but in return most active worker of JI on social media team lower level bureaucracy of JI of my city, all spitted filthy remarks on me, of having sympathies with PMLN.

Now, Siraul Haque sahib again holds steering of JI's vehicle for next five years. I wish him and the JI all success. Will he make sane decisions in future? At a time when JI was part of KPK government, to wonder for all, in a public gathering of JUI, he announced he was entrusting the task of recurring MMA to Maulana Fazlurehman. It greatly made the JI workers confused about their election campaign. More interesting thing was that till the last day of the assemblies neither JI was ready to disassociate itself with PTI nor Maulana Fazlurehman and Sajid Mir broke up with PMLN. Dynamic force of JI workers got angry and entered PTI with a heavy loss of votes for JI particularly in KPK.

I have no personal grumbles for Imran Khan or his party. My vote has been and will be for JI انشاالله. It is JI who had helped me to develop my Islamic vision and worldview. I learnt writing and speaking only while in JI. To me, moral values and Islamic family system is back bone of Muslim society. I was deeply shocked that Sirajul Haque sahib and other JI leadership has proven dumb, deaf and blind about the moral traits and family base for which Imran Khan is model. He has his unlawful daughter under patronage of his ex-wife living with his two sons in a Jewish family environment in London. Shall we assume that, it all does not matter to the leadership of JI. He allured a married woman having her grandchildren. She got divorce from her former husband and came in نكاح of Imran Khan. I think this all is a ruining thing for our Muslim family system. Such an ugly step of a leader, who is the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan which he, with his deceptions, gives name of مدينه كى رياست never made JI leaders uneasy. If Imran Khan's evil acts are his personal matters then let every criminal claim his acts his personal matter. Breaking the families is the worst kind of فساد and corruption. ِOne Hadith of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم tells us that شيطان is to break wedlock and family relations of wives and husbands. Imran Khan followed this Satanic trait and broke an established family. We see, JI team with loud cries against corruption but fails to define corruption in its complete sense. I am afraid that JI is not ready to take the case of Imran Khan's unlawful daughter, his never-broken mysterious contacts with his ex-wife, and his marriage with his so-called spiritual guide Bushra BiBi as a matter of corruption. Intellectual, academic and knowledge downfall is main reason of the plague JI is subject of. Failure in innovation of new ideas and research is speedily heading from bad to worse and from worse to the worst. Level of intellectualism has gone down. Highly learned personalities both in religious and worldly knowledge are in excessive shortage. Political taste and 'hunger' for vote has caused a demise in training of well informed force to prove ideological importance. Last but not least, for achieving political progress, JI under Sirajul Haque sahib makes expediencies and مداهنت as a tool to leverage. Either shy or fearful of unknown forces, it lets JI not raise its fingers on huge corruption of Judiciary and Establishment. In this situation revival of JI's ideological character seems dark. It has changed itself from an Islamic Movement to just a political party like dozens of this kind in our country.
