What is now Bangladesh, in united Pakistan it was actually
eastern wing of the country. World
powers collaborated with India who was intriguing since the day Pakistan was
created to make this largest Muslim country a failed state. If Pakistan was not
ready to accept Indian dominance, there was an evil plan to either efface it
from the world map or at least cut it down such a little in size that it could
not challenge India, as a big country always trying to establish its hegemony
over the small neighbor states. This odious plan was later applied on two more
large Muslim countries, Indonesia and Sudan, also to make them shorter in size.
In 1971, India put its armed forces at war against Pakistan.
Traitors, under the leadership of Sheikh Mujiburehman, who was later declared
founding father of Bangladesh, had already raised local rebellious elements
against Pakistan military forces. Mukti Bahni, a murderous militant group,
supported and armed by the Indians, was pitted against the East Pakistanis
(Bengalis) who were loyal to Pakistan.
Jamat Islami was the largest political power in field at
that time, struggling to save Pakistan as an ideological Muslim state.
International secret plans attained the goal of harming Pakistan and the Eastern
Wing of the country got separated as Bangladesh. When this country was
recognized as a sovereign and free country, Jamat Islami and many other
political parties accepted it as a fact and decided to serve Bangladesh as
their homeland. Jamat Islami was a coalition partner in previous government of
former Prime Minister Khaledah Zia and the men picked from Jamat Islami earned
credit of the most efficient, pain taking and honest ministers of Khalida Zia's
cabinet.
Hasina Wajid, the present PM, is the daughter of Sheikh
Mujiburehman. In the last election contested in united Pakistan gaining the
second position in almost all the constituencies in East Pakistan Jamat Islami
was the major challenger for Awami League of Sheikh Mujiburehman, so naturally
Hasina Wajid is grouchy and is heavily contemptuous of Jamat Islami. She, in
spite of politically being the most corrupt and unpopular now, wants to put her
fascist tendency in practice particularly against Jamat Islami to obliterate
entire first row leadership of this party.
Judiciary in Bangladesh proves to be a blunt tool of Hasina
Wajid to get whole of the top Jamat Islami leadership slayed through the
courts. Professor Ghulam Azam, an internationally recognized prominent Muslim
figure, in spite of his old age, was imprisoned and waiting for any atrocious
verdict of conscienceless judges of the
special court. He is suffering from many diseases. His health condition is
gradually deteriorating in due to excessive jail severities. Very recently death sentence was given to
Maulana Abu Al-Kalam Azad a leader of JI in his absence. Now, Delawar Hussain
Saeedi, a renowned religious scholar and deputy head of Jamat Islami has been
chosen for death penalty. Hundreds of Jamat Islami activists are already in
jails suffering harsh treatment there. Will the banner holders of human rights
and democratic norms let all these judicial killings happen?
