Immensely Censurable Cultural Assault

Many civilizations rose on the face of the earth and then effaced to remain no longer in existence. Dazzling material advancement, cultural hallmarks and invincible military power at their back could not save them from getting annihilated. The civilizations sunk with all that were at their back to support them. Why? Because the elements having a swaying and influential positions in those societies, claiming to be the banner holder and guardians of the civilizations, stood against the Will of the Creator and chose mischievous way of life. They widely and openly dissented with the teachings of the Prophets commissioned to guide them to the right path and warn them of the consequences of going astray. They challenged the fairness and plausibility of the standards set by the religions they were called to follow. They rejected the beliefs and moral values taught by the Prophets and forced their communities to blindly obey the villain political and social leadership of their time.

Those were the superstitious and ignorant times when the minds were subdued by the myths and obscenities. They lacked the radiance of knowledge and illumination of intellect which the present Western Civilization is proud to have. Though those ancient societies were not so indiscreet yet they were without the gift of the scientific knowledge the modern man has with him proving a lot in its light.

The community of all the Prophets had a particular type of moral corruption. The root cause of all of their evils was their rebellious attitude against the Guidance of Allah, their Creator and Sustainer, given through the Apostles. The worst of all was the satanic habit of the community of the Prophet Lut (AS). Now while the media and the sources of interaction shortened the distances between the communities and the world has changed into a global village, moral corruption of any type, in the one corner of the glob has its negative impacts on entire humanity, so the matter was never for us to keep our eyes close. But what has made the situation immensely worrisome for us is hegemonic nature of America, not only keeping the Muslim world economically, militarily under its thumb but making cultural inroads to ruin our moral and spiritual values.

The most recent example of cultural assault is a function for sodomites held under the auspices of a senior diplomat, of the American embassy in Islamabad, himself a homosexual. We are already sagged under the burden of so-called ‘War on Terror’ which our coward and senseless military and political leadership has owned to be of ours. Trillions of dollars and thousands of the lives of our civilians and armed forces ‘jawans’, is our loss not easily to be recompensed in near future. This all has been done only to submissively appease the Americans. Now in the list of demands to ‘do more’ is to blindly renounce the most precious asset of our moral values. If the government and the military leadership have been made totally blind, the religious parties and the healthy thinking political and civil society elements, including the professional organizations including the lawyers, doctors and journalists should not remain silent on this extremely shameful event. A sagacious and full of sense of honor message with a forceful reaction should go to the Americans. This immensely censurable cultural assault of the American embassy is in no way tolerable.
