Establishment of Islamic Jurisprudence Complex in Saudia

It is really a good news that an Islamic Jurisprudence Complex has been established in Saudi Arab. It will be wise to make it clear that the complex will house a jurisprudence authority without confining it to Hanbali school of thought or any other. It has to be an arena to determine Shariah related issues on contemporary matters through collective Íjtehad' purely in the light of the Quran and Sunnah (Ahadith) keeping all the four pervasive forms of jurisprudence in sight. The venture in the complex, as it has been claimed, will not be captivated by some small circle of a particular outlook. Presently Muslim Ummah is confused by excessive and controversial 'fatwas' by narrow-minded and almost ignorant úlama' of different schools of thought. Muslim Ummah is in a state of ideological bewilderment because of the Ulama who have locked themselves in small sectarian circles with deficient and inaccurate knowledge of Islam. It is repeatedly predicted that Islam is going to be the overwhelmingly spread religion in the Western world in the coming decades but it is unfortunate that mistakenly attribution of the habits, tribal traditions and sectarian prejudices to Islam has caused great complications in this age. For giving the Muslims a better understanding of the intricacies of the problems by collective and not someone's individual thinking establishing a prestigious institution is a great step.
