Pakistan Lies in Our Hearts

People
Pakistan, being the land of our dreams, not only lies on the map of the world but in our hearts too. Why? Subjugation of India by the British imperialism was not only the end of Muslim rule power, but we, the Muslims of the subcontinent, lost our honour and freedom also. Subordination really changed the nature and every thing went in reverse. Shadows of unlucky stars overcame and falling on evil days became destined. The lowness chased and the clouds of decline grew thick. Muslim population was overcome with disappointment and distress. Courage and self-confidence remained only matter of the past. In such circumstances the odds were clearly against existence of a collective identity as a nation.

With the extinction of our centuries long sovereign position in Indo-Pak subcontinent, we had suffered a social and economic set back also along with the political downfall. Just after wrest of our power Hindu community, which enjoyed full opportunities of progress and religious freedom under the Muslim rule turned its eyes and succeeded to win favours of the British imperialists and started conspiratorial activities to give us a push towards a disaster as a community. Our backwardness increased in almost every field of life. We were far behind in business field, immensely slow-paced in education and due to being suspects before the imperialists we had minimum chances of government jobs. Trade was already in hands of the rival community. Actually we were subject to a double servitude, politically under British imperialism and socially and economically under Hindus.

While demanding a free and sovereign homeland, about 100 millions Muslims of subcontinent hoped to regain their identity as a nation, with its own belief, culture, history and ethical code to follow. We got a separate piece of land for us to live with piece and harmony, without any fear of exploitation and manipulation by Hindus. In a country of our own where no massacres like that in Gujrat under BJP rule were expected to happen. Where racism was not likely to surface. Where our sacred worship places were not go in risk of getting demolished.

We remained no more dupe of the prejudice, which is often evident against supper stars of Bolywood film industry, who only bear the Muslim names. In lifestyle, thinking and customs they emulate are mostly similar to the Hindus. M F Hussain, a 95 years old renowned painter, having 900-odd cases against him, was forced to go to self-exile. He has very recently got permanent nationality of Qatar. A lot of his art works with his house were already burnt and his life was threatened. Highly talented Muslim youth are deliberately branded to be terrorists just to block them from rising as the shining stars and show their intellect in fields of science, technology, computer and commerce.

Against all this we had chosen to have our own country to live with the principles of democracy, freedom, tolerance, social justice and all opportunities of education, jobs and achievements in every sphere of life without any fear. The teachings of the Quran and Sunnah had to be guidance for us and dictum of Quaid-e-Azam, unity, organization and discipline was to be cause of our power. Despite the fact that after our freedom from British imperialism and being spared from getting swamped over by Hindu majority we still we wait to get our dream come true Pakistan lies in our hearts.

Leaders
Though we didn’t dream for it but we feel Pakistan lies in our hearts. Most of us are from the feudal class and huge lands owned by us are gifts from the Brits against the services of our elders helping in stability and strength of the British rule in the areas of our present political hegemony. If Pakistan had not been created we would have rare chances of making place in even local bodies politics in united India. Here we rise to be prime ministers, presidents, ministers and advisors. We become members of the national and provincial assemblies. Some of us have arisen from business class. Politics itself has become a business now to plunder money and we make a lot through politics. Some of us are in politics as successors of their elders and it is only investment for high earning. Pakistan lies in our hearts because all the possibilities of our worldly gains lie here.

Nature seldom changes and we are with the nature of our forefathers who licked the shoes of the British imperialists. Now the imperialism has got a new face. Americans, need not land here to occupy our country. They give dictations and we blindly follow. Whether in ruling party or in opposition all of our policies are in compliance with the wishes of our American masters. We are at their beck and call. Their words suffice to settle disputes when we quarrel to bring each other low. Any Milli Band, any Hal Brooke, any Hallary Clinton is needed to guide us how to make decisions in our political, economic and even carve our defense policies now. They tell us who is our foe and who is our friend. They advise us where and when we should start military operations. We are happily paying the cost of all this. Bomb blasts, suicide bombing, restlessness in social life, uncertainty of lives and properties and inertness in economic activities, stagnancy in process of progress.

No prick of conscience we feel in damaging national interests and bringing disgrace for our country while execution of the dictations of our masters. Our main objective is to make fortunes worth billions without any fear of any accountability. Pakistan lies in our hearts because it is the only land where we feel no obstruction in practice of nepotism, opportunism and corruption. We corroborate our prime minister, who very recently reiterated Pakistan lies in our hearts.
